For my daughters upcoming party, each student was assigned to bring in something to chip in for the food and snacks, and my daughter in a draw lots got snacks this time, and as soon as she got home, she asked me what we can do to be able to get this snacks going as she wanted to give something different for the class. Well I told her I can make the usual butter cookies, but for a change, I will make different designs so that the class will find it different. So she agreed, and I got online to seek for different designs of cookie cutters, and in the end, I chose this peppermint candy cookie cutter and some other cute designs from this site called cheapcookiecutters.com. and true enough, I was able to make something different, and surprisingly, it was challenging to me this time as I had to get different colors right to make it look like a peppermint candy cookie, as it was not enough to simply shape the cookie with the peppermint candy cookie cutter in order to get things right. But it was all good as the challenge got to me and I was able to respond in kind and make the best cookie I can have with this shape possible. Good thing it was also a success in terms of the taste as both my daughter and my husband liked the taste of this cookie at this time.
